Open-source homebrew for the original Sony PlayStation®
I am Xavier Del Campo, a Sony PlayStation® 1 (for short, PSX) enthusiast who also loves writing games. Since nextvolume's open-source libraries PSXSDK were released back in 2010, I have been creating open-source games and applications for the PSX.
Feel free to ask me anything about PSX development at xavi92psx [at] gmail [dot] com.
My current projects
Airport (Working title)
Air Traffic Controller (ATC) simulator
A cooperative 2-player mode is also available, where both players must coordinate in order to win the level.
"Airport" is an open-source game. It can be downloaded following this link. Final BIN/CUE image files for burning into a CD-ROM can be found here.

Deathball
The only entry on Global Game Jam® 2017 created for PSX
Deathball is an open-source game for the PSX written by a 4-people team in less than 48 hours as one of the many entries submitted on the Global Game Jam® 2017 world-wide competition.
It is a very simple and fun game where 2 beach balls fight for their lifes. Two killer cactus stand on both sides of the screen, and the first ball to hit the cactus twice loses.
Source code for DeathBall can be found here. Final BIN/CUE image files for burning into a CD-ROM can be found here.Gameplay video using a SCPH-102 aka PSOne®:
Pinballoid
Arkanoid clone with new features and rules
Pinballoid was my first kinda-serious project for the PSX. I went for this because I always liked Arkanoid, but at the same time I felt something was missing on it. So I added some features in order to make the game more interesting from my perspective.
It features a 2-player mode and a powerful level editor.
Links for source code and BIN/CUE files will be released soon.
